Jennifer’s practice is a continuing exploration of re–occurring patterns in nature. These principles of construction are constant in the objects she creates. Whether it's a ceramic wall piece, lighting or sculpture - repetition of the same gesture or shape over and over to build form.

Growing up in colonial Philadelphia, a few steps from Independence Hall and the surrounds of 18th century palladium architecture instilled an appreciation for the virtues of order, a sense of time within construction and elegant detail. The work develops organically but adheres to a strict sense of aesthetic principles.

After two decades showing sculpture and watercolor in the art world, a series of collaborations with designers led to ceramics as a full-time venture. Now she loves to work with clients to create one of a kind lighting pieces approached and presented as functional sculpture.

Jennifer received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from USC in Los Angeles where she currently lives and works.
